The OTOFIN ear lotio will resolve the earwax, cleanse your cat’s or dog’s external auditory canals, leaving the skin supple and agreeably fragrant. Its regular application will help maintain the ears clean and healthy. In terms of its composition the agent satisfies the contemporary requirements for composition of the agents intended for efficient and safe flushing and cleansing of your cats’/dogs’ ears.

The efficient substances are extracted from natural drugs, which – apart from their marvelous aseptic effects – stand out as being safe. Marigold, lavender, basil, and propylenglycole are known for their capacity to reduce the counts of bacteria and yeasts, being also efficient against some viruses and mites. Marigold and alpha-bisabolol have a demonstrable calming and anti-inflammatory effect.

In combination with propylenglycol the extracts from vegetal drugs will reliably and carefully resolve cerumen, being suitable for preventive cleansing of the auditory canals and auricles. This ear solution also contains the substances that reduce irritating nature of the remaining efficient components. Thanks to the above, the lotio is not irritating or drying.

The OTOFIN ear lotion has acid pH value, imitating the one in a healthy ear. This only intensifies the anti-microbial effects.

Propylenglycol 40.0 g; (±) - alpha-bisabolol 100 mg; liquid marigold extract in spirit 3.0 g; lavender essence 100 mg; basil essence 280 mg; glyceromacrogoli-7- cocoate; acidifier, edetate disodium dihydrate, foam controller, purified water.

INDICATION: 

Preventive treatment of the cat’s/dog’s auditory canals and auricles – once a week.Where the auditory canal is excessively contaminated with cerumen and necrotic tissues, the solution can be applied once a day for the period of eight days. Flushing of the auditory canals is a part of the therapy for parasitic otitises, but cannot be applied as a therapy itself.

APPLICATION METHOD

Application of the OTOFIN ear lotio is easy thanks to a sufficiently long and elastic applicator with which the solution can be applied deep enough into the auditory canal.

The auditory canal should be filled with the solution and massaged carefully.  Surplus liquid has to be sucked off with a cotton wool or paper tissue. The solution should be left in the auditory canal for a while, then the animal may shake off the solution with released earwax. The product remnants can again be sucked off with a piece of paper tissue; the cerumen can be wiped out with gauze or paper tissue. Avoid using the cotton wool sticks!

Apply repeatedly where the auditory canal is heavily contaminated.
