From November 30 to December 3, 2023, the Annual Veterinary Congress was held in the Turkish city of Marmaris in the south of the country and was dedicated to the issue of internal medicine.

One of the main sponsors of the congress was Interhas, the national distributor of Bioveta veterinary products in Turkey. About 500 participants from all over the country took part in lectures, workshops, videoconferences from Turkey and abroad in three halls. At the congress, MVDr. Jiří Neužil, Regional Director of Bioveta, also spoke on the topic of immunology and vaccination of small animals. After the lecture in the main hall of the Grand Yazici Hotel, there was a very lively discussion on the topic of zoonoses and the contribution of veterinarians to its eradication, especially after the deterioration of the epidemiological situation after the recent earthquake in the east of the country. Many questions were related to the issue of rabies, which is also related to the method of vaccination of stray dogs and cats. Bioveta is involved in oral and parenteral rabies vaccination in the country.
