Educational events for foreign students at the University in Timisoara
7.4.2026On April 1, 2026, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Timișoara, in collaboration with Bioveta Romania, organized an educational event dedicated to the 5th and 6th year students from the English section. The activity aimed to enhance students’ knowledge and provide practical insights into current topics in veterinary medicine.
Pig farming management for students in Iasi
1.4.2026A very constructive discussion was organized in an academic atmosphere at USV Iași, faculty of Veterinary medicine, between 25-27.03.2026 and had as its target audience romanian and foreign students in the final year studying in the Swine-Avian module. The main goal of this meeting was to share information regarding pathology and management of swine breeding and the Bioveta options available in this sector, thus trying to make the transition from the academic cycle to the position of veterinary professional as smooth as possible. Romania: Bioveta presented new products and highlights the importance of dog vaccination

On 25.03.2026, we had the pleasure of participating in the Symposium organized by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Timișoara, an event dedicated to knowledge exchange and the presentation of the latest developments in veterinary medicine.
Romania: Bioveta's solution for sheep farmers
25.3.2026An oral anthelmintic preparation for sheep containing praziquantel, effective against tapeworms of the genus Moniezia. Without withdrawal periods, safe for use during gestation, was presented on March 25, 2026 at the "King Mihai I" University of Biological Sciences in Timișoara, during the annual meeting of the Sheep and Goat Breeders' Association Ovis Banatim. The benefits and mechanism of action of our product were discussed with 30 sheep breeders from Timișoara County.
Romania: Updates in the therapy of diseases with major economic impact in livestock animals
24.3.2026At the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest, a presentation dedicated to the Bioveta portfolio for farm animals was delivered to 6th-year students. The event was structured into two distinct sections, each focusing on a species of major importance. The first part of the presentation was dedicated to swine and highlighted Bioveta’s solutions for the prevention and control of common diseases in this species. The available vaccines, immunization schemes, and the importance of proper veterinary health management were discussed. Emphasis was also placed on the economic impact of diseases and on the role of Bioveta products in reducing farm losses. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and interact with us.
Romania: Immunoprophylaxis in breeding herd on pig farms
20.3.2026On March 19, a professional meeting took place in Brașov, attended by 12 specialized veterinarians from different regions of the country. The event was dedicated to presenting the swine vaccine portfolio of the company Bioveta, one of the suppliers of veterinary products in Europe with over 100 years of experience.
Bioveta Again at the Molocna ferma Conference in Lviv
18.3.2026On March 12-13, the annual conference of Ukrainian cattle breeders was held in the city of Lviv. The conference took place in a tense situation, as the milk market in the country is in crisis, farm purchase prices continue to decline, and dairies are unable to meet their obligations. Therefore, the conference was well attended not only by experts – zootechnicians and veterinarians, but also by farm owners and directors from across Ukraine.
Bioveta at the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice
29.1.2026A professional lecture by MVDr. Bc. Karel Paukner, Ph.D., Bioveta’s product manager for companion animals, was held at the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice at the end of last year. The lecture was organized under the auspices of the Slovak branch of our company. This is another example of linking the world of veterinary professionals from the pharmaceutical industry with the academic environment.
Working Meeting with Veterinarian Practitioners
21.1.2026More than 30 experts in livestock practice gathered on the second weekend of January at the invitation of Bioveta in Myslovice, Western Bohemia, to discuss their experience with the prevention and therapy of a serious disease affecting cattle, sheep, and goats – bluetongue (BT), also known as sheep catarrhal fever.

Endoscopic courses led by MVDr. Miloš Vávra, Ph.D. successfully completed in 2025
13.1.2026In December 2025, the last of a series of professional endoscopic workshops for practicing veterinarians and their teams took place. This educational series was led by the experienced veterinary gastroenterologist MVDr. Miloš Vávra, Ph.D., and provided participants with a comprehensive theoretical and practical overview focused on endoscopy in dogs and cats – all supported by Bioveta.
