On 3 and 4 May 2025, a two-day practical course focused on horse dentistry in field conditions took place at the National Stud Farm in Kladruby nad Labem. The event was organized by the Czech Hipiatric Society and Bioveta was one of the main sponsors.

The workshop was attended by 15 veterinarians from the Czech and Slovak Republics, who were guided by five experienced lecturers – MVDr. Anna Pilíková, MVDr. Jan Kosinka, MVDr. Martin Jehlička, MVDr. Filip Kološ, Ph.D., DECVS and MVDr. Ronald Bodnár, CertAVP(ED).

The program was divided into two blocks, morning lectures and afternoon practical training.

They offered both basic and more advanced topics in the field of diagnosis and therapy of dental diseases in horses, focusing on real possibilities in field practice. In the afternoon, intensive practical training took place in groups of three participants. Participants could try working with an oroscope, the technique of proper X-raying of the head and the extraction of wolf teeth.

During the course, a total of 30 horses aged 3 to 22 years were examined and treated for dentistry. Bioveta supported the event with a product designed for reliable and safe sedation, which has found practical application in a number of procedures. The excellent professional level, practical approach and attention to detail made this seminar an extraordinary event for all participants.
