Four days filled with professional insights and practical experience. From 12 to 15 October 2026, Bioveta welcomed a delegation of twenty veterinary professionals from Latvia. The main part of the professional programme took place at the company’s headquarters in Ivanovice na Hané.
The visit to Bioveta began with a presentation of the company delivered by MVDr. Jiří Urbánek, MBA, M.Ed., Head of Marketing and Sales Support. This was followed by a tour of the company premises, during which the guests gained a closer insight into the environment where our products are manufactured and learned about the high production standards and strong emphasis on quality, essential to the manufacture.
The professional programme was subsequently divided into three thematic sections according to the participants’ areas of specialisation. The group focused on cattle was accompanied by MVDr. Veronika Skotáková, Product Manager for Cattle. As part of the visit, she also accompanied the guests on a tour of an agricultural farm, where they learned about its operations and cattle farming practices.
Veterinarians specialising in small animal practice were accompanied by our Product Manager, MVDr. Karel Paukner. The programme included a visit to a modern veterinary clinic in Brno, where the guests were introduced to the high standard of veterinary care and had the opportunity to exchange experience with their Czech colleagues. In his lecture, Dr Paukner explained how a rational approach to vaccination helps protect dogs against serious infectious diseases and contributes to their long-term health.
The group focused on horses was accompanied by MVDr. Ronen Hoikhman, Ph.D., Product Manager for Horses. The programme included a visit to a specialised equine clinic, a demonstration of a mobile rescue unit, and a lecture on equine vaccination.
Across all groups, Dr Urbánek’s lecture on artificial intelligence and its impact on veterinary practice also attracted considerable interest. The professional visit was further enriched by brief opportunities to explore Prague, Brno, and South Moravia. Throughout the programme, the delegation was also accompanied by Ing. Jan Bittner, Area Director. We would like to thank the Latvian delegation for their visit and believe that it contributed to further strengthening of our mutual relationships.
