Bioveta, a.s. continuously invests not only in the development and production of veterinary vaccines and medicinal products, but also in the professional education of its employees. The goal is to ensure that veterinarians have a partner in Bioveta's sales representatives who understands their needs and can help them select appropriate preventive and therapeutic solutions for their patients.

To support this objective, a professional training session for the Slovak sales team was held in Nitra, focusing on the veterinary medicinal product Maropitant Bioveta 10 mg/ml, intended for the prevention and treatment of vomiting in dogs and cats. Participants enhanced their knowledge of the product’s mechanism of action, its proper use in clinical practice, and the most common situations veterinarians encounter when treating patients.

The training program was prepared by Bioveta’s global companion animal product management team. The team, coordinated by MVDr. Bc. Karel Paukner, Ph.D., has recently been strengthened by MVDr. Zuzana Svobodová, Ph.D., who brings extensive experience in veterinary parasitology and medical affairs to Bioveta.

Throughout her professional career, Dr. Svobodová has focused primarily on vector-borne diseases and other clinically significant parasitic diseases affecting dogs and cats, whose importance in Central Europe has been steadily increasing. At the same time, she has provided long-term professional support and consulting to veterinarians in the fields of diagnostics and treatment strategies.
