At the end of April, a group of veterinarians met in the south of Moravia in the romantic region of Pálava to take part in another event within the Bioveta Bank program.
The weather on Friday was particularly harsh, so after the introductory presentation, all participants prayed to St. Peter to hear the pleas for improved weather. In the morning, to everyone's surprise, the sun woke us up and the first impatient ones were already feeding their sure-fire places from 6 o'clock. At the stroke of 7 o'clock in the morning, the actual fishing competition began in two categories. The fish were taking, so we were not surprised that the day flew by and it was time to announce the winners.
In the largest fish category, MVDr. Mojmír Dvořák scored in 1st place with his grass carp 105 cm long, which broke the last year's record, a 98 cm carp. In the category for the highest number of scored fish, Mr. Tomáš Štefl from the MVDr. Filás team took 1st place with a total of 14 fish in a total length of 1064 cm.
Despite the initial bad weather, the event was a success confirmed by satisfied and smiling faces of the participants.
