Romania: Immunoprophylaxis in breeding herd on pig farms On March 19, a professional meeting took place in Brașov, attended by 12 specialized veterinarians from different regions of the country. The event was dedicated to presenting the swine vaccine portfolio of the company Bioveta, one of the suppliers of veterinary products in Europe with over 100 years of experience.

During the meeting, new developments in the effective immunization of farm animals and current trends in the prevention of infectious diseases were discussed. Among the participants, nine veterinarians work in commercial farms, having direct experience in managing herd health. Another three veterinarians represent companies that import high-performance genetic livestock, contributing to strengthening the genetic base of herds in Romania.

The discussions highlighted the importance of collaboration among specialists in the field, our partner Bistrivet, and the need to adapt vaccination programs to real conditions on the ground. The event concluded in a collegial atmosphere, with a commitment to continue the partnership between Bioveta and the participating veterinarians. Additionally, colleagues from Bistrivet provided clarifications regarding commercial aspects and the best ways to supply products under optimal conditions.
