Romania: Updates in the therapy of diseases with major economic impact in livestock animals At the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest, a presentation dedicated to the Bioveta portfolio for farm animals was delivered to 6th-year students. The event was structured into two distinct sections, each focusing on a species of major importance. The first part of the presentation was dedicated to swine and highlighted Bioveta’s solutions for the prevention and control of common diseases in this species. The available vaccines, immunization schemes, and the importance of proper veterinary health management were discussed. Emphasis was also placed on the economic impact of diseases and on the role of Bioveta products in reducing farm losses. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and interact with us.

The second section was dedicated to cattle and addressed the main health challenges in dairy and fattening farms. The presentation included information about Bioveta products designed to prevent viral and bacterial diseases specific to this species. Effective vaccination strategies and biosecurity measures applicable in modern farms were analyzed. At the same time, the importance of monitoring herd health and rapid intervention in case of outbreaks was discussed. The event concluded with remarks on the essential role of the Bioveta portfolio in supporting healthy and efficient livestock production.
