CEFAMAM LC 200mg intramammary suspension

Intramammary antibiotics product containing cefalexin for lactating dairy cows.

• semi-synthetic beta-lactam bactericidal antibiotic from the group of cephalosporins 1st generation, proven by twenty years of experience, without restrictions for use in cattle (category C)

• indicated for use in lactating cows for the treatment of mastitis caused by microorganisms sensitive to cephalexin

• highly effective against the most common pathogens of the mammary gland from group G+ such as Staphylococcus sp. (including strains producing penicillinase), Str.uberis, Str.agalactiae and Str.dysgalactiae, as well as against the pathogens cause environmental mastitis, such as E.coli, Trueperella (Corynebacterium) pyogenes, Klebsiella sp. and more

• the application form of the suspension enables rapid diffusion of the active substance into the parenchyma of the mammary gland thanks to e.g. due to high fat solubility

• antibiotic concentrations are maintained above MIC levels in milk and tissues for target organisms for 12 hours

• enormously short withdrawal period of only 48 hours for milk and only 4 days for meat
