On March 12-13, the annual conference of Ukrainian cattle breeders was held in the city of Lviv. The conference took place in a tense situation, as the milk market in the country is in crisis, farm purchase prices continue to decline, and dairies are unable to meet their obligations. Therefore, the conference was well attended not only by experts – zootechnicians and veterinarians, but also by farm owners and directors from across Ukraine.

Approximately 200 participants discussed lively the situation and listened to speakers from all areas of cattle breeding on how to reduce milk production costs.

Bioveta is a traditional participant in this event. The company participated not only as a sponsor but also presented its anti-mastitis program in a lecture by Dr. Sergej Rozgonucki. The lecture attracted interest mainly from specialists, who then visited our booth in large numbers and inquired about all the registered anti-mastitis products in the country. Surprisingly, many questions were directed at the use of Intramar Seal during the dry period. This method of udder treatment is not yet common in Ukraine.

The task is therefore to supply our distributor with a sufficient quantity of the presented and registered products and to further promote sales by visiting individual farms, not only those attending this meeting.
