The AVER Congress (Equine Veterinary Association of Romania) took place in Cluj-Napoca, between October 17–19, 2025. The event represented a landmark scientific event for equine medicine in Romania, facilitating the dissemination of up-to-date knowledge, promoting innovation in veterinary vaccinology, and strengthening collaboration between professionals in the veterinary and horse-breeding sectors.

During the congress, Bioveta launched its new equine vaccine – BioEquin FT, intended for the active immunization of horses against equine influenza, aiming to reduce clinical signs and viral shedding following infection with the equine influenza virus, as well as for the active immunization and prevention of mortality caused by tetanus. Senior technical manager, Ronen Hoikhman, DVM, Ph.D., MRCVS explained during his presentation to farm owners and veterinariens the importance of implementing prophylactic vaccination programs to maintain the health of equine populations together with importance of antideparasitation according sampling.
