Bioveta was a co-sponsor of the jubilee 50th Czech Poultry Conference with international participation, organized by the Czech Association of Avian Medicine. The two-day meeting took place on 13 and 14 October 2026 at the Tři Věžičky Congress Centre near Jihlava.

Bioveta was represented at the conference by MVDr. Wuhib Ayele, Ph.D., our Product Manager for Poultry. During the professional programme of the first day, he gave a presentation on the topic “Avian Encephalomyelitis: Impacts on Poultry Production and the Importance of Vaccination in the Prevention and Control of the Disease.”

Avian encephalomyelitis is a viral disease of the central nervous system of poultry. Since no specific treatment is available, vaccination plays a key role in the prevention and control of the disease.
