On November 25 and 26th, a seminar was held in the university town of Stara Zagora, organized by the Bulgarian Association VL for Farm Animals (BAVFA) in cooperation with the Lekoom company. The seminar also took place thanks to significant sponsorship from the management of Bioveta. Among the main speakers was MVDr. Pavel Raška. In his presentation he focused on vaccination programs for cattle and their importance in the prevention of diseases of calves. Another important topic was the therapy and prevention of mastitis of cows. The second main speaker was MVDr. Josef Zajíc. His lecture was mainly focused on the reproduction of animals and potential complications of the cows' health status after parturition. Doc. Dr. Chavdar Filipov, the company Lekoom associate, also introduced participants to the new trends in veterinary immunology.
