Working Meeting with Veterinarian Practitioners More than 30 experts in livestock practice gathered on the second weekend of January at the invitation of Bioveta in Myslovice, Western Bohemia, to discuss their experience with the prevention and therapy of a serious disease affecting cattle, sheep, and goats – bluetongue (BT), also known as sheep catarrhal fever.

"Feedback from the field is very important for our company," stated the director for the Czech Republic, MVDr. Martin Vodinský. "Thanks to this information, we can offer effective procedures for addressing the outbreak within Central Europe." He also informed those present about the completion of DOI studies for the registration of 12 months of protection after vaccination, provided by Bioveta to the Institute for State Control of Veterinary Biologicals and Medicines in Brno.

The discussion quickly became a lively addition to the entire meeting and confirmed how valuable it is to build collaboration not only through products but also through professional dialogue.

This year's event was not only a working one but also provided guests with a love for hunting the opportunity to test their shooting skills during a pheasant hunt. Precise preparation, sufficient staff and hunting dogs, adherence to traditions, and winter weather created an atmosphere that participants will remember for a long time.

Bioveta thanks all veterinarians who participated in this year's hunt for their daily work, loyalty, and openness during the meeting. It was an honor to spend time together in a pleasant environment where the tradition of Czech hunting merged with a professional program.

As the participants were leaving, it was no coincidence that the phrase "Could we come again next year?" was heard repeatedly. And that really makes us happy.

Good hunting!
