  • A/Equi 1/Praha 56 (H7N7), min. 16 HI
  • A/Equi 2/Morava 95 (European type), H3N8 min. 16 HI
  • A/Equi 2/Brno 97 (American type), H3N8 min. 16 HI
  • Anatoxinum tetanicum purificatum, RP ≥ 1*

*RP = Relative potency (ELISA test) is expressed by comparison of antibody levels in guinea pig serum with antibody levels in reference serum obtained after vaccination of guinea pigs and its comparison with an international standard

Adjuvans: algeldrat  0.2 ml, excipients : thiomersal 0.1 mg

Indication:

Preventive vaccination of horses against influenza and tetanus.

Onset of immunity: Solid immunity comes within 14 to 21 days after revaccination

Duration of immunity: against influenza for at least 6 months after primary vaccination course and 12 months after first revacccination. against tetanus  12 months after primary vaccination course.

Target species:

Horses

Dosage for each species, route and method of administration:

1 ml deep intramuscularly.

Primary vaccination course

First injection at the age of 3 to 6 months, second injection is made 4 to 6 weeks later.

Revaccination

The first revaccination (third dose) is given against influenza 6 months after the primary vaccination course and, against tetanus once in 12 months.Further revaccination against influenza and tetanus is carried out once in 12 months. Revaccinate pregnant mares in the last trimester of pregnancy, no later than one month before the planned delivery. Note: In the case of foals born from mares demonstrably vaccinated before the delivery we recommend to vaccinate the foals at the age of 6 months due to the colostral immunity.

Withdrawal period:  

Zero days.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.Store in a refrigerator (2 °C – 8 °C).

Special warnings:  

Only healthy animals should be vaccinated.Maternal antibodies can interfere with the development of active immunity. It is necessary to comply with the vaccination schedule for foals.

No information is available on the safety and efficacy of this vaccine when used with any other  veterinary medicinal product. A decision to use this vaccine before or after any other veterinary medicinal product therefore needs to be made on a case by case basis.In the absence of compatibility studies, this veterinary medicinal product must not be mixed with other veterinary medicinal products.

Can be used during pregnancy and lactation.In case of accidental self-injection, seek medical advice immediately and show the package leaflet or the label to the physician.
