Contents of therapeutic and other substances:

Propylenglycol 40.0 g; (±) - alpha-bisabolol 100 mg; liquid marigold extract in spirit 3.0 g; lavender essence 100 mg; basil essence 280 mg; glyceromacrogoli-7- cocoate; acidifier, edetate disodium dihydrate, foam controller, purified water.

Indication:

Preventive treatment of the cat’s/dog’s auditory canals and auricles – once a week.Where the auditory canal is excessively contaminated with cerumen and necrotic tissues, the solution can be applied once a day for the period of eight days. Flushing of the auditory canals is a part of the therapy for parasitic otitises, but cannot be applied as a therapy itself.

Application method:

Application of the OTOFIN ear lotio is easy thanks to a sufficiently long and elastic applicator with which the solution can be applied deep enough into the auditory canal.

The auditory canal should be filled with the solution and massaged carefully.  Surplus liquid has to be sucked off with a cotton wool or paper tissue. The solution should be left in the auditory canal for a while, then the animal may shake off the solution with released earwax. The product remnants can again be sucked off with a piece of paper tissue; the cerumen can be wiped out with gauze or paper tissue. Avoid using the cotton wool sticks!

Apply repeatedly where the auditory canal is heavily contaminated.

Extra warning:

Avoid applying in the event of perforated eardrum and to the animals with known allergy to some of the efficient or auxiliary substances.
