Pharmaceutical form

Lyophilizate for solution for injection with solvent.

White or off-white lyophilizate, odourless, readily soluble in the solvent giving a clear or slightly opalescent colourless solution.

Composition

Gonadotropinum sericum equinum                    400 IU

Gonadotropinum chorionícum                            200 IU

Indication

Treatment of anestrus, induction of oestrus, synchronization of gestation in sows and gilts.

Target animals

Sows and gilts.

Dosage and application

For both the single-dose and multi-dose packaging: Transfer the content of the vial with the solvent to the vial with the lyophilized substance. Agitate to dissolve. Apply one dose (2 ml) intramuscularly or subcutaneously behind the ear.

Induction of oestrus At 5.5 to 6.5 months of age or at a weight of 85 to 100 kg. Gilts can be inseminated during the first oestrus after administration. A more numerous farrow can be expected if the insemination was only performed during the second oestrus after administration

Note: Oestrus will occur 3 to 6 days after application.

Storage

Store in a refrigerator (2 °C – 8 °C).

Shelf-life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale: 3 years.

Shelf-life after dilution or reconstitution according to directions: 12 hours.

10 x 1 dose + 10 x 2 ml of the diluent.

5 x 5 doses + 5 x 10 ml of the diluent.

5 x 10 doses + 5 x 20 ml of the diluent.
