VIV Asia 2023 in Bangkok
21.3.2023This year's VIV Asia in Bangkok, held on a smaller combined area of the Impact exhibition and convention centre, resembled a rather typical Asian city with an abundance of stands and a constant flow of visitors, where considerable effort is required to find the destination. Three days full of meetings with existing partners and those interested in future cooperation took place at a friendly and, above all, busy pace. Solving existing problems, preparing business plans and deadlines for assigned tasks are prerequisites for the successful course of business activities this year as well.
The second visit of the Bulgarian veterinarians in Bioveta in this year
6.12.2022In the last week of September, the second visit of veterinarians from Bulgaria took place in Bioveta. They are clients of the company Lekoom, which is the main partner of Bioveta in this Balkan country and at the same time it is one of the largest and traditional Bulgarian distribution companies of veterinary medications. At the same time, Lekoom is also one of the first foreign partners of Bioveta.

1.12.2022As we had announced recently, Hannover (Germany) hosted in mid-November one of the world's largest trade fairs focused on farm animals’ husbandry, breeding, and care for their health & welfare. Our company was represented by three colleagues from the marketing and sales section (Marek Vystavěl, Věra Chlupová, Jiří Vojtěch), our representative for Hungary Zoltán Szakács, and our business partner from the United Arab Emirates Samy Shazly. All five of them barely had a minute to spare – the fair was a four-day marathon of negotiations with business partners from all over the world. Big part of it were discussions about new contracts; but due to the uncertainty prevailing in virtually all markets, meetings with current business partners focused on the coming year were frequent, too. We would like to thank all visitors to our stand for their interest and trust; please let us wish everyone a peaceful end of the year and a successful start of the new one!
Seminar of BAVFA in Stara Zagora
28.11.2022On November 25 and 26th, a seminar was held in the university town of Stara Zagora, organized by the Bulgarian Association VL for Farm Animals (BAVFA) in cooperation with the Lekoom company. The seminar also took place thanks to significant sponsorship from the management of Bioveta. Among the main speakers was MVDr. Pavel Raška. In his presentation he focused on vaccination programs for cattle and their importance in the prevention of diseases of calves. Another important topic was the therapy and prevention of mastitis of cows. The second main speaker was MVDr. Josef Zajíc. His lecture was mainly focused on the reproduction of animals and potential complications of the cows' health status after parturition. Doc. Dr. Chavdar Filipov, the company Lekoom associate, also introduced participants to the new trends in veterinary immunology.
The summit of the main breeders of poultry, pigs and cattle in Ukraine
24.11.2022The summit was held on 11.11. 2022 in Kyiv, despite the state of war in Ukraine. At this long-awaited meeting, the main paths of development of individual areas of animal production were discussed, as the seed of the reconstruction of the Ukrainian countryside. Bioveta Ukraine also presented itself at the meeting, as a stable and trustworthy partner of farmers, which, despite the difficult conditions this year, helped manage difficult situations in livestock farms. Since Bioveta Ukraine wants to be involved in the poultry industry, our presence at the event was well received by poultry farmers. We hope that our activities, even in times of war in the country, will help to push the Bioveta brand in Ukraine a little higher.
2nd International Veterinary Congress in Plovdiv
16.10.2022From 29th September till 1st October 2022, the "Second International Veterinary Congress" was organized by the Bulgarian Association of Livestock Veterinarians and the Chamber of Veterinarians of North Macedonia. The congress took place in the second largest Bulgarian city - Plovdiv. More than four hundred veterinarians from Bulgaria, Macedonia and Turkey participated in this congress. One of the speakers was our product manager MVDr. Josef Zajíc, Ph.D.. In his expert lecture on reproduction in cows he undelined the possibilities of how Bioveta's products can be successfully applied for reproductive disorders of cattle. Among the sponsors of this conference was the company Lekoom, which is the main distributor of our products in Bulgaria and has presented Bioveta products at its stand at the event.
Virtual Veterinary Community
12.10.2022From 8th October till 11th October the VVC (Virtual Veterinary Community) conference took place in the Golden Sands resort, near the Black Sea port city of Varna. It is a voluntary community of veterinarians who practice mainly in the field of small animals. The community meets annually. On these occasions, which are attended by more than three hundred Bulgarian veterinarians, lectures are given by Bulgarian and foreign specialists in the field. In the past, Bioveta and its products were presented here by, for example, prof. Svoboda, Dr. Velasquez or Dr. Zajíc. Every year, the company Lekoom, the main distributor of Bioveta in Bulgaria, participates as a supports in this events, where the company presents our company's products at its stand.
Ukrainian conference "Svinokomplex"
23.9.2022Despite the current international political conditions, the "Svinokomplex" conference took place in Lviv on September 20. Bioveta Ukraine was a proud sponsor of this event.
Bioveta enters Panama market
21.7.2022Latin America is an interesting area from the point of view of veterinary medicine and Bioveta shares that view. Therefore, we are happy to announce that since June 16th, we have officially started supplying our veterinary products to Panama.
Conference and seminar in Bulgaria
8.7.2022In June, the annual conference of the Bulgarian Association of Small Animals Veterinarians took place in Varna. Our regional director, Josef Zajíc,DVM, informed colleagues about the news in our portfolio. And on July 2, a seminar organized by the Bulgarian Association of Livestock Veterinarians, took place in Sofia. Our colleague, Josef Zajíc,DVM, also participated in the seminar. He was also one of the lecturers. His lecture on the topic "Early diagnosis of pregnancy in farm animals and solutions to obstetric-gynecological problems" was heard by the practical vet. doctors from different regions of Bulgaria.
